Probably because of the result or lack of results in retransmission consent negotiations (if entered into) between Comcast and the station versus must-carry notification (every 3 years, with this period's results due on October 1, 2011), WLMT-DT, the main, high-definition widescreen channel carrying The CW programming, got stuck up at 81.8 on cable-ready digital television sets with typical combination analog/QAM tuners, or 809 if you subscribe to Comcast "digital" service using one of their devices or a compatible one, while Comcast still puts a converted-to-analog non-widescreen version on its cable at (analog) channel 8.
Likewise,WLMT-DT2, its digital non-widescreen subchannel now carrying MeTV, wound up at 65.14 QAM, 911 Comcast "digital."
