Tina Fey IS Sarah Palin
In the greatest tradition of Saturday Night Live political humor, Tina Fey totally nails Sarah Palin.

Woeful Wednesday -- Memphis Slim
Yes, I remember, a few days after Steve Cohen beat Gary Belz for the Democratic nomination (tantamount to election) for Tennessee State Senate District 30, Gary brought Memphis Slim into a grand show at his family's Peabody (Hotel) Skyway and had the class to have me sit with him at his table, knowing I had just helped Steve beat him. Gary is a friend of mine. Gary is like that. Here's Slim doing his immortal "Every Day I Have The Blues":
Yo, what's with the white stripe running across Slim's head? No one ever told me. I don't think he "had it done." Maybe Slim's Memphis attorney, my law partner, can tell me.
Meanwhile, did you know that Eric Clapton loved and covered Slim's recording of "Steppin' Out" (with Matt "Blues Brother" Murphy on guitar on the original) and that a great hippie band of the Sixties named itself and had a big song off Slim's "Mother Earth"?
